Sergio Pagoaga Blog2- A.I retirement

Allen Iverson is to officially retire at the end of this week. The former MVP and 11 time all-star is almost definitely going to be instated into the Hall of Fame. He was drafted number 1 overall in 1996 and became the rookie of the year. During his career he played for the 76ers, Grizzles , Nuggets, and Pistons. He was only 6ft tall as “point guard’ yet he actually played the shooting guard position.
He averaged 26.7 points a game, 6.2 assist a game, and 2.2 steals. Best known for 2001 in his MVP season where he lead the 76ers to the NBA finals. He was one of the best players of the decade, until some health issues snagged his play late in his career. His last played in the NBA in 2010 but played overseas for the past couple years.

In the early 200s he was a global icon. He was well known for his personality and his hard play on the court. Someone  that small and the athletic hasn't been seen the NBA before. And maybe never will again
